{"id":8905,"date":"2019-04-02T16:09:15","date_gmt":"2019-04-02T16:09:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conquerpcos.org\/?p=8905"},"modified":"2020-07-14T19:41:48","modified_gmt":"2020-07-14T14:11:48","slug":"nutri-chicken-biryani","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gynaecworld.com\/pcos\/nutri-chicken-biryani\/","title":{"rendered":"Nutri Chicken Biryani: Healthy Biryani for a Healthy You"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1>Nutri Chicken Biryani: Healthy Biryani for a Healthy You<\/h1>\n<h2><strong><u>Ingredients:<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Brown basmati rice \u2013\u00a015g<\/p>\n<p>Lean cuts of chicken \u2013\u00a050g<\/p>\n<p>Hung curd\/ slim curd\u2013\u00a050g<\/p>\n<p>Poppy seeds \u2013\u00a0\u00bdtsp<\/p>\n<p>Black sesame seeds \u2013\u00a0\u00bdtsp<\/p>\n<p>Melon seeds \u2013\u00a0\u00bdtbsp<\/p>\n<p>Onion \u2013\u00a025g<\/p>\n<p>Carrot \u2013\u00a010g<\/p>\n<p>Capsicum \u2013\u00a015g<\/p>\n<p>French beans \u2013\u00a015g<\/p>\n<p>Cauliflower \u2013\u00a010g<\/p>\n<p>Oil- 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Salt, Chilli powder-As per taste.<\/p>\n<p>Biryani masala-As per taste<\/p>\n<p>Bay leaf- 2 no.<\/p>\n<p>Cloves- 2-3.<\/p>\n<p>Coriander leaves- For garnish<\/p>\n<h2><strong><u>Method of Preparation:<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Take chicken and marinate it with hung curd, salt, chilli powder and olive oil for 1 \u00bd -2 hrs.<\/li>\n<li>Soak rice for 15 minutes in double the amount of water.<\/li>\n<li>Chop vegetables finely.<\/li>\n<li>Soak the melon and poppy seeds for 15-20minutes and make it into a fine paste.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan and saute onions till golden brown. Add masalas to it.<\/li>\n<li>Add the remaining vegetables and marinated chicken to it till cooked.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaves and clove, add the rice and saute for few minutes and add the rice water to cook.<\/li>\n<li>Cook till the rice is almost separated.<\/li>\n<li>Fill the pan with alternate layers of rice and masala.
